Your data stays on your device and in your personal iCloud/HealthKit. It is never sent to our servers. We do not have access to your weight logs, cycle data, or any other personal health information.
2. HealthKit Integration
HerWeigh integrates with Apple Health (HealthKit) to sync your weight and cycle data.
- Reading Data: We read weight and menstrual cycle data from HealthKit to display your history and provide hormonal context for your weight fluctuations.
- Writing Data: When you log a weight or cycle event in HerWeigh, it is automatically saved to HealthKit so your data remains centralized and backed up by Apple.
You are in full control of these permissions and can adjust them at any time in your iPhone Settings under Privacy & Security > Health > HerWeigh.
3. Data Collection and Usage
Since HerWeigh functions as an offline-first app relying on on-device storage and HealthKit, we do not collect, store, or process your personal data on external servers. We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
HerWeigh does not use third-party analytics or tracking tools that monitor your individual health data.
5. Children's Privacy
HerWeigh is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
