Why I built this
To get my health back on track, I turned to fasting and a low-carb diet and initially saw great results. Over time, however, I began experiencing hair loss and irregular menstrual cycles. That pushed me to dig deeper.
Through reading research studies and books (specifically Fast Like a Girl by Dr. Mindy Pelz), I learned that men and women have very different physiologies and nutritional needs. Women's bodies follow a hormonal rhythm tied to the menstrual cycle, and fasting should be adapted accordingly—not approached the same way as men's.
I built this app to help track and understand my body, so I can better anticipate changes and adjust my fasting, diet, and exercise in ways that truly support women's health—and I still use it every day.
